The Omer Avital quintet is both an all-star group compiled of some of the leading jazz musicians on the world jazz scene, all of which are great composers, band leaders and in demand side man, and at the same time, this is a group of friends who have been playing together in many different contexts for the past 15 years. Their almost telepathic sense of communication and sincere joyfulness makes their concerts a real uplifting experience.
